Stentor Student Standard Violin is an entry-level instrument on a low budget. Unlike many other economy level instruments, it is made to correct measurements and specifications. The outfit comes with an attractive, lightweight case with brown integral cover and a good student wood bow. The violin is made from carved solid tonewoods, with inlaid purfling, and blackened hardwood pegs and fingerboard. It is fitted with a textured plastic tailpiece with integral adjusters for easy tuning. It offers amazing value and should not be confused with low quality pressed timber instruments that have a short usable life. Fitted with Super-Sensitive Red Label strings.

Although she has never ordered from here, our daughters piano teacher recommended she get her first violin here. Apparently shipment was delayed a few days, and I immediately received an email notifying me and apologizing. It was only late by a day or two and I was really impressed with the customer service. The violin is a wonderful beginner violin and her teacher was impressed with the quality of the case and violin. Will definitely be ordering again!
The violin came with full set up! I love it! Of course you need to get the shoulder strap separately but they still good!
The thing is my violin pegs are loose, maybe because of the temperature my place is, but they can be fixed so not a big deal.
Decent violin. This is her beginner instrument. It comes with a bow, rosin, just what u need to get started. Delivery was quick, customer service is awesome. They are very helpful and very responsive. And if you are just getting started, don't forget to get your music stand.
These violins are a good value and sound much better then other low quality pressed timber instruments.
A very good balance between quality, sound, and price.
