Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Strings, Bows & More, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you may be eligible for a return or refund under the conditions outlined below.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery or purchase in store
  • Items must be unused and in original condition
  • Items must include original packaging, tags, and accessories (if applicable)
  • Proof of purchase is required

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be returned unless defective:

  • Used strings

  • Used rosin

  • Opened instrument cleaners

  • Personalized or special-order items

  • Clearance / final sale items 

4. Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos and order details

We will arrange replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.

5. Return Process

To start a return:

  1. Contact us with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for return authorization instructions
  3. Ship the item securely using a trackable shipping method

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

6. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time: typically 5–10 business days depending on payment provider

8. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges for defective or damaged items, subject to stock availability.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled if they have not yet shipped.
Once shipped, the order must follow the standard return process.
