This violin was made by Josef Theodor Wunderlich in 1924 in Markneukirchen, a small town in the Vogtlandkreis district, in Saxony, Germany, close to the Czech border.

The original label inside reads: 

Jos. Theodor Wunderlich Markneukirchen i/Sa. Anno 1924.

The violin has deep and warm tone. A little crack on the front deck has been fixed and the instrument is in perfect shape.

Fitted with brand new Warchal "Amber" strings.

The outfit includes:

  • W. Seifert mastermade pernambuco bow with octagonal stick, fully mounted ebony frog, ivory tip, newly re-haired. Great performing features.
