This violin was made by Josef Theodor Wunderlich in 1924 in Markneukirchen, a small town in the Vogtlandkreis district, in Saxony, Germany, close to the Czech border.
The original label inside reads:
The violin has deep and warm tone. A little crack on the front deck has been fixed and the instrument is in perfect shape.
Fitted with brand new Warchal "Amber" strings.
