This Viola was made in 1996 in Toronto by a famous master Filip Tomov.
Selected spruce top and flamed maple back and sides of beautiful texture.
Fitted with matching ebony pegs and tailpiece decorated with copper.
Beautiful and clear sound of this instrument is very easy to produce without applying any force, which provides a wide range of volume, including the extreme pianissimo and the brightest fortissimo. Deep and noble tone, rich with overtones and even on all four strings, in any position and in any register.
Medium size Viola (16 inches) is light in weight and properly shaped allowing to play technically challenging passages without overcoming difficulties often encountered when playing the violas. Even the notes in the highest positions can be easily reached.
